A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query under its own systems and returns the result. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.

An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

The site identifies routes to Baker County Sheriff, the local courts, Oregon State Police CJIS, and the Oregon State Police Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a third-party criminal file or consumer report, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and disclosure rules govern any information submitted to them. Review the provider's policy before running a query because we do not control those practices.

Links may lead to Oregon agencies, Baker County offices, courts, legal resources, or outside tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Check it before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on the provider's systems.
